This is an apartment building that was designed and built by the same architectural firm that designed our very own, the Fairmount apartment building. The Fairmount complex was built in the late ‘80s after the city of Seattle decided it needed a new urban design for its neighborhoods. The original Fairmount complex was designed by architect John Cundall and was designed for the then newly arrived college students and students that worked there.
Cundall’s designs were known for their attention to detail and for doing their best to make the apartments comfortable for everyone, from families to elderly. Like us, the Fairmount students were looking for more than just a place to sleep and a place to live. They were looking for a place that met all of their needs and desires.
