San Francisco’s south of Market district is one of the oldest and most sought-after neighborhoods in the city. From the city’s waterfront to the cable cars that take you to the top of Mt. St. Helena, this neighborhood is full of history and fun.
In San Francisco’s south of Market district you can get up close and personal with some of the most unique and beautiful buildings in the world. With the citys newest art gallery, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the citys newest high rise buildings including the new Sutter Hospital and the new Bank of America Tower, this neighborhood is full of great restaurants, and an ever-growing nightlife scene.
If you like to eat and drink, it doesn’t get better than Mission District. Here you can find everything from the best Chinese restaurants in the world to the best wine merchants in the world and more. There are so many great bars and restaurants in this neighborhood that you just might be spoiled for choice.
It’s not too difficult to find food and drink in this neighborhood, but it would be nice to see some restaurants and bars put more emphasis on the food and drink aspects of a place.
Mission District is very much a neighborhood, but it’s also very much a place. If you walk down Mission Street you will notice all of the great restaurants, bars, and street food vendors you’d find anywhere. If you want to have an excellent pizza, you know where to go. If you want to have a drink, you know where to go. If you want to eat, you know where to go.
I love seeing restaurants and bars that put an emphasis on food, drink and general fun. I also love the idea of the Mission District as a place where you can hang out, get your food and drink, and just relax. I can’t wait to see what the new Mission District will look like.
