The co-op idea is one that can be pretty easily implemented, and it doesn’t have to be limited to just renting an apartment. It could be that you can open up a co-op where you set up a whole network of rental apartments where you can rent out any one of them for as long as you want.
This is one of those great ideas that you think sounds really great and you just have to wait two months and then do it. It took me more than two weeks to get the idea of a co-op network from the very beginning. The idea is not nearly as revolutionary as it sounds. I think the idea is great because it could potentially make it easier for people to find housing.
The problem is that we are still in the early stages of this. As of right now you can rent one apartment for a month and be done. You can rent out a whole complex and be done with it too. You can rent out a whole neighborhood and be done with it too. You can rent out a whole lot of apartments or houses or condos and be done with it. There’s just not enough demand for it yet.
