I am a big fan of making cards for my daughter in law. The last time I made cards, I made her in the round and printed them on a cardstock frame. The ones I made for her birthday are all made out of cards that have been torn, punched out, and folded. I do like to make them out of scrapbook paper and get them out for her.
My daughter in law is a card maker too although she also likes to make cards for herself. So far we’ve made cards for both of them, but I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make cards for them that aren’t just blank cards.
The card making process is very similar to the making of cards. Everything you put into the project has to be creative and functional. A scrapbook card is a great example of this because it has to be functional too, but its also a good one because you can use it to store memories. The same goes for cards. If you make cards that people can use, you can make them with lots of different things, and the memories you make will last a lifetime.

However when I say blank I mean you can use all sorts of images and different pictures, but for our mothers day cards I wanted to pick a specific kind of image that we could use. I’m a bit biased to think of this card as a first cousin card because I am a first cousin myself. But I think that this card is a nice thing to have. If it were up to me, I’d probably have a Mother in Law card of my own but it looks like I would have to give that to my sister in a card exchange.
