I am a big fan of the movie The Fugitive. One of the best things about the movie is the last scene where the character Robert Blake (played by Christian Slater) has just escaped from prison. The way he walks down the street, looks around, and gets away with his life is genius. Robert Blake is a brilliant, successful, and law-abiding man.
Well, the last scene of The Fugitive (which is probably the last scene of any movie I’ve ever seen) might be the best last scene of any movie I’ve ever seen. Robert Blake is one of the most dangerous fugitives to ever walk the planet, and the way he does it is so brilliant.
He gets away with it because he’s a good dude. And he’s smart, and he’s not a total dick, and he’s a complete badass. When I first saw the trailer I thought it was really cool that Robert Blake was just going to get away with it. Then I realized I just didn’t understand how that was possible. I thought, “Wow, this guy is really going to get away with it.
Well, he did. The guy is good, he has a plan, and he’s not a total dick. That’s why he’s a badass, and that’s why he’s smart, and thats why he’s the right guy to be on the run with.
We can all agree that he is a good dude. Well, in fact, he is an excellent badass. He always has a plan, and he has a very good plan. He does have a good plan, but he’s not perfect. Because he’s not perfect, that means he’s not worth dying for, but his plan must be successful and he has a plan. He has a plan that he’s willing to keep to. Of course, there’s a catch.
