I just can’t believe that a law and order SVU screencap was not posted under the article about the arrest of a criminal. The arrest was a great example of the police and prosecutors using their powers in ways that make me proud.

How would I feel when I meet someone who’s been arrested? There’s a difference between being nice and being nice. If you’re being nice, that’s a little different. Well, here’s the thing. As a human, I always feel kind of bad when I see the police arrest someone, especially when they do it for a minor crime. I know that I’m going to be arrested for something I did not do, and that it’s possible that they are only going to be arresting me because they think I’m a murderer. I’m also pretty sure that I will only be arrested for something I did in the past.
The thing that bothers me the most is that it’s the beginning of the end that I’m left with nothing to do, even if it is at all. If I wanted to be a lawyer, I would just have to go into a lawyer’s office and find out what was going on in my life. And if I’m a lawyer, that’s the end of the end.
Yes, there are things that should never be done. However, there are things that you should never do either. For example, there is no reason you shouldn’t be a part of the law. You are, after all, a citizen. So you should not be arrested.
In case you haven’t seen them yet, law enforcement is now an increasingly more important element of our lives, and that’s a good thing. A large part of what we do is to enforce social norms, which is an excellent thing. But the problem is that there are certain things that law enforcement does that are inherently wrong. For example, arresting someone when they’re not even in the wrong. Or arresting someone who’s been found guilty of a crime and is now awaiting sentencing.
I’m sure you are all familiar with the “law and order” meme. Back in the day when the police were involved in a large percentage of our lives, they were almost always doing the right thing. A law enforcement officer making an arrest would be called a “police officer,” so he would be wearing a badge and the word “police” would be written on his uniform, and his weapon would be carried on his hip.
But the law and order meme died out in the 90s when the police started getting their own way more and more often, and so were in a bit of a pickle in the 80s. What began as a parody of the police officer in the 80s was actually an attempt to make police officers look more like the men and women that police did in the 70s.
