Fort lauderdale’s restaurants are becoming more and more popular, and it’s no secret that the downtown area is the perfect place to eat out.
While Fort lauderdales has its own unique restaurants, there are a few that have already started to take advantage of the city’s dining options.
The best one of these, of course, is Sushi Nami, which we reviewed in our last episode. You can find Sushi Nami at the Fort lauderdales Marketplace on Saturdays from 5:30-8:30.
Sushi Nami’s menu is quite large, including a variety of sashimi, sushi rolls, nigiri, ramen, and more. The restaurant is also known for their kamikaze lunch special, which is two sushi rolls with a variety of toppings for only $10.00. The menu also features “Pork Banh Mi,” which is a pork-filled pork sandwich for only $6.00.
The closest Sushi Nami comes to the “healthiest” is their sushi and tempura. But for their own sake, it’s worth a trip. The menu is pretty extensive and it’s worth checking out.
To finish, I would also recommend visiting a few of their other restaurants in the area. A few of the ones I listed above are nearby.

I have to mention that there is something very refreshing about a place that has you order your food and then just sits there, watching you eat it. It’s more of an indulgent, “enjoy as you are” mentality than an overt and calculated approach to eating. It really is a relaxing experience. Their salads are definitely my favorite, I would recommend the salmon salad or the salmon and artichoke salad.
