Every time I see a paper, I look for a law that gives me and the other people I work with the best time to think. That’s what I mean by formal law. At home, I often have a list of the rules. In this list, I’ll go over them. The rules are the rules of how things should be done. If I don’t have them, I can’t do it right.
A formal law is something that is written down. Usually, it is a legal document that is made public, like contracts or wills. A formal rule is a set of rules that make up the formal law. The question is, how do you enforce a formal rule? In the case of a formal rule, you can do it by having an internal process that is supposed to be followed. In the case of a formal law, you have to have an external process that everyone is supposed to follow.
Formal rules are one of the reasons why many companies are afraid to hire lawyers. Some companies have their formal rules in a written document, others use informal rules that are communicated orally. In both cases, the person receiving the information has to write it down and read it aloud.
When it comes to formal rules, people need to read written documents. If they don’t, then they can be held liable. Just because you have an informal rule in your formal documents, that doesn’t mean it’s not binding.
The problem is the rules are so vague and not enforced. An informal rule of mine that I have in my business card says “If you hear me say it’s mandatory to wear a suit at my company’s meeting”. It’s up to you whether you follow that or not, but I know I will.
If your business card is a little too informal, your attendance at your meetings might be seen as mandatory. As for the suit, that’s a little more complicated. The US Constitution doesn’t actually have a specific definition for this word, so its hard for us to say exactly what it refers to. But the most popular interpretation is that its used as an example of a formal dress code.
The government in the UK says you’re not allowed to wear a suit, but its considered to be a nice dress to wear. So it actually prohibits you from wearing a suit. I don’t know why but this is what it’s for.
The suit is a formal dress code and it is definitely enforced. It is enforced by the government because it is a form of public shaming. The government has a reason to look down upon you. They want you to not look like a criminal. But it is not a mandatory dress code, so you can dress how you like. I am of the opinion that if you want to be a criminal then you should be dressed like a criminal.
This is probably the most often asked question I get asked. Well, I think it is more of a general rule I’ve heard. We all have a purpose in life. Some of us will be working in the legal or professional fields. Some of us will have lives that are more or less centered around our chosen field. There are those who will have careers that are so focused on their chosen field that they will work very hard to be the best that they can be.
Lawyers, insurance lawyers, and other legal types will have a lot of time to spend at work, and that is one of the things that will keep them from being distracted by all the other people in the office. Some will be there every day, some will be there only once a year, and some will be there only while traveling. All of this is okay. But some of us will be there most of the time, and others will be there only while on vacation.
