I am living in apartments in Stuyvesant Park, Brooklyn. I am also a Stuyvesant Park resident. The apartments are a new construction and I am very excited to be here.
But what I also love about apartments in Stuyvesant Park is that everything on my floor is painted bright blue in order to make it look like I’m living in an apartment. I love that.
I am sure there are a lot of people who would argue that blue is an unrealistic color. I think this is because there is just so much of it. And while I love the feeling of being able to see the city from the sky, this also means that there is no privacy for what you’re doing. There are so many people living in apartments in Stuyvesant Park that there is an abundance of blue space to hide in.
I don’t think there’s any argument about how beautiful blue is, but the argument about privacy is one of the reasons I think it is a terrible color to paint. I think that blue space is a really good idea, but I think that you also need to consider the color you’re painting the apartment in if you’re trying to paint a bedroom. Blue is a pretty deep blue, and a dark blue would be pretty black too.
