I’m a Brooklynite who loves the city and the surrounding area. I moved to Long Island City in 2007 to attend the University. My college years were spent working as a waitress, a bartender, and a dishwasher. I continued working as a waitress when I moved to New York, but after a couple of years, I started working with the community as a chef—I’ve been doing that for my entire life.
I’ve always made and sold my own food, so I decided to open a restaurant to use the experience I have honing my craft. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had in my life.
The food is amazing and I love the atmosphere. The whole neighborhood is so positive. It’s a great place to live, and there are lots of great people who are on board with what I do.
I love working with the community because it brings me back to my roots and gives me a reason to do what I do. I grew up doing a lot of cooking and selling my own food. I wanted to use that knowledge to make something that was bigger than myself, and also to use my skills to expand the community.
The food is amazing. The scenery is beautiful and the staff is exceptional. The building is a great space to live in, and I’d love to stay. I don’t mean that in a bad way, I love the neighborhood and the people, but I think I would be happier in a more central place. It’s just not what I need at the moment. I spend most of my time in New York and the city is a huge commitment.
I’ve been told that my time in the city doesn’t lend itself to my creativity, but honestly I don’t know how you can really avoid it. I can only imagine that it’s hard to avoid the “dumbing down” of your surroundings in New York.
Well, the problem is that the city does seem to be sucking up a lot of your creativity. Although we’re not sure if this is a good thing, the amount of creativity that is being sucked up by the city is quite alarming.
The city is one of the most creative places in the world, and that is due to the fact that it is a huge melting pot of different cultures. You also can’t really avoid it, as there are so many different types of studios, offices, offices, apartments, and apartments in Long Island City. There is one that is very popular in the area that is situated on the east side of the harbor area.
Studios and offices are what we call “build-outs”, so these are the buildings that are built and then the tenants move in. One of the biggest projects that has been completed in Long Island City is the Studio in Long Island City. It’s a three-story building that was built in the 1980s and was renovated in 2017. The studio has two floors and each floor has a studio. The studios are designed to be very open and easy to navigate.
The studio is definitely an unusual choice for a place people would associate with a creative space, but that’s because of the way the building was originally built. The original building was built as a two-story commercial space that could be easily converted into a studio. That’s because the owner didn’t want the building to be seen as a commercial space as he had plans for the property to be a parking lot.
