A lot of people go on to start a law school in the Bay Area and their law school is pretty awesome. I don’t think anyone ever thought to take a class of 50 students to begin with.
Maas Law Firm was created in the late 1990s to help people in the Bay Area with immigration law. Today, we help people all over the area with all issues related to immigration including employment law, the rights of foreign nationals, the rights of non-citizens, and the rights of businesses.
We are a small firm with a big heart. We have done things like help people that just don’t know what to do with the process, answer legal questions, and offer guidance when a client is in trouble. When you see us walking around your community we know you’re there to help and to assist.
We are an immigration law firm in the state of New York with a mission to help people. We do not have a special relationship with any specific company or individual. The majority of our law firm resources are focused on helping people not only navigate the immigration process but also the related business and employment issues. To that end we assist clients in locating and interviewing employers, as well as assisting them with their employment applications. As with all of our work, we do not charge fees to resolve issues.
In many states, including New York, some lawyers are not allowed to give advice to clients about immigration. This is typically the case with companies that have many employees who are undocumented. This is a situation that is difficult to handle for lawyers because of the legal risk of advising a client to file an employment application (because it’s likely that the employer will find out). Maas Law does not charge clients to assist in this process.
Maas Law does not charge employment for its clients, but if you’re asked to pay fees to resolve an immigration problem, then you can just as easily pay that fee to resolve your legal issues.
We think because Maas Law is a small law firm, and because it is a start-up, that it is difficult to estimate the cost of our legal representation. As long as a client pays $200 to hire us as their attorney, we would be happy to work with you to find out the cost of your situation. If you are a customer and your legal issues are not covered by a contract, then we may refer you to a local attorney. We also offer free legal consultation.
