As I write this the police department in my town is still discussing whether to fire the police chief. I know this because this morning, while I was cooking, I heard the first police officer say that the chief might be fired.
Of course this is hardly the first time the police department has been in the news. We have a good one for this, but the fact that the police department has had to answer a few questions about what happened in the past makes this one even more bizarre. The police department isn’t saying anything new right now, but they have a little more to say about what’s being done in the future.
The police department hasnt made any formal announcement, but they have been giving press conferences this morning. The department has also been holding press conferences on a weekly basis. There are some very strange things going on in the police department, but they dont want to talk about it just yet. We have a good one for this, of course.

This is the fourth police officer to be shot in the last week. It seems like theyve got one of their own.A week ago, another officer was shot, this time for his role in a drug deal gone wrong. This week, a cop was shot in the arm as he was investigating a shooting that took place in an apartment, and another cop was shot in the leg while he was on patrol.
Weve got a good one, of course. Theyve got a good one by the end of the week.
In the wake of a series of shootings, a few cities are banning guns, and an anti-gun group called the National Rifle Association is doing its best to make sure that the public doesn’t get the message that guns are not only OK, but necessary. But some gun owners are not as cool with the idea of the NRA pushing a message of gun control.
One of the big things they have going for them is the fact that they are a group that is almost entirely comprised of guys. The NRA is still, in fact, a guy organization. And, if you live in a state where a ban on the magazine has passed, you can be sure that you will see one of the NRA’s most prominent members, Vice President Mike Pence, come out in favor of a ban. I think he will.
Mike Pence is the vice president of the NRA, the largest gun-tracking organization in the country. When asked why he opposed the new federal law, which took effect January 1st, he answered by saying, “It’s one of those things that we can’t just legislate. At a certain point, you have to choose how you deal with it. I don’t think we should be in the business of forcing people to get a gun.
The other thing that Mike Pence is famous for is his opposition to the Second Amendment. When he was running for his first gubernatorial campaign in Indiana, he made it a point to say that the NRA’s lobbying efforts to make law enforcement more gun friendly would bankrupt the state. He made it a point that it was the “right thing to do,” but I think he’s on the wrong side of the debate.
