I’m not trying to sound controversial, but I’m not a fan of the term “megashare” at all. I tend to think of megashare in the same way I think of a car dealership. Most are actually not that bad. It just seems that the word is used without any context. I think the reason for this is that it is a term we need to learn how to define.
One of the things that does get me started on how to define megashare is that it should be clear and concise. You can put it into a few words, like “the main character” or “a character, personality, or personality trait” or “an image/character/image” or anything else. It’s also the main reason that we don’t bother with it when we’re talking about some sort of crime or other (or whatever) type of crime.
Megashare is a real word. We’re talking about megashares, which is defined as the collective name for any type of non-profit or non-governmental organization, and the ones that provide services on a platform that is not controlled by the government or other non-profit organization.
