Most of us don’t like having to take a test or be told what we’ve done wrong. But, the thing about taking a test is that you can’t take it back. Sometimes it can feel like you’re fighting the law in school.
Yes, you can take a test in school if you want, but that doesn’t mean it’s something you should. In the hands of a very experienced counselor you can get a lot of very clear, and sometimes very unpleasant answers. A test is just that – a test – and that makes it tough to know what to do when you get it wrong.
The answer is, take the test and then keep your mouth shut about it. There are few things more annoying than being in the wrong.
If you were to try this with a police officer, they would most likely give you a stern talking to. You might be told to stop talking about it, or that you should ask for an attorney. In the case of the police officer, you would be told to get off the property or face charges. The answer for a lawyer is to turn the situation into a private matter. After all, it is your own life that is being threatened.
The law has only ever been used once in the history of the world. In this case it is being used on a man named Joseph Kief. Kief is a former U.S. Marshal and is still serving time in a federal prison for the killing of an innocent man. A few years ago, Kief was released on parole and was living an idyllic life.
Kief is a charming man. He has a beautiful wife and two adorable children. However, he is a convicted felon who has been in solitary confinement for 15 years. The only reason he’s not in the streets is because he is a felon. Kief is a man who loves his life, and he did not stop to think that an innocent man might have been killed. Not only that, but he has been imprisoned for 15 years by the government for stealing something that doesn’t exist.
Kief is not on death row, he is on life at large. He just hasn’t been caught yet. The government has him on parole. And of course, the government wants to use him to break the law. In a way, he’s like the lawyer of the future. When you imprison a criminal you can only hope that they will somehow come to their senses.
Kief is the ideal lawyer. Not only is he as smart as he is dangerous, he can also get a pardon. The government wants to use him as a bargaining chip to get out of its legal grip over the stolen property. If they can get Kief to confess to being the thief, then we can use him to get out of prison and the government will be legally out of its legal grip over this property.
The government doesn’t want to use Kief, but they can’t afford to give up the stolen property without taking a huge dent in their economy. So they use him to send a message to all of the world’s criminals that they can’t go to jail. The criminals have to go to great lengths, including using a time loop to send the message, to make sure the message gets passed on.
The best part of the trailer is when Kief is talking to a guy on the prison’s roof. He’s explaining that he can go back to his time and see what he did. I don’t know if Kief has a time loop (which might be an issue in the new game), but that was a pretty cool scene.
