I am a sucker for beautiful places, so I’m a sucker for neighborhoods that are just as beautiful but less developed. What these neighborhoods have in common are lots of great restaurants, great restaurants, great restaurants, and more restaurants.
We live in a city where the number of restaurants is so astronomically high that there is a lot of competition for them. But in San Diego, there is one area which is literally the best, and thats Little Italy. The only thing it has going for it is that it has lots of interesting food.

But I feel like Little Italy may be the one I am going to go with. It has lots of interesting food that is also pretty much as interesting as Little Italy.
We also liked this neighborhood, but it was just too crowded and packed with tourists. We also found ourselves at this neighborhood a few times where we were afraid to walk out because there were lots of people everywhere.
In my opinion, Little Italy is the best of the bunch. It has both the best Italian food and the best people. And although this is a very good neighborhood, there are some bad neighborhoods too. These are the most crowded and the very worst neighborhoods in San Diego.

So it’s important to know what’s out there and then go out and take a look. You don’t need to be afraid of crowds.
