A sustainable neighborhood is one that would be allowed to stay up and maintain its status quo, but never change its standards.
If you are going to have a neighborhood that is sustainable, you will have to live there, so you’ll need to be building a community. A neighborhood is more like an apartment complex, or maybe a single family home, or a co-op. A sustainable neighborhood may be defined as one that has enough single family homes or apartments to allow them to remain the same size for a long time.
